Arrest Made After River Forest Lurings

In two separate incidents, police say Chicago man approached women in River Forest.

A Chicago man has been charged with disorderly conduct after allegedly approaching women in River Forest and trying to lure them into his car, police said. Giovanni Incandela, 54, of the 6900 block of Grand Ave., was identified in two separate incidents on Oct. 25. In the first, police said Incandela was driving near North Avenue when he "aggressively attempted" to lure a 44-year-old woman into his car. In the second incident, also near North Avenue, he allegedly exited his car and followed an 33-year-old woman to her apartment. That woman was able to get inside her residence and lock the door, police said. Both women were able to avoid close contact with Incandela, who police said was arrested Nov. 19 outside his home.
