Pulitzer Prize-Winning Author Jared Diamond Comes to Unity Temple

Jared Diamond, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Guns, Germs and Steel, will be speaking at Unity Tempe, 875 Lake St. in Oak Park, on Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. as part of the Sharing Stories series of author discussions. Diamond will be sharing stories from his latest work, The World Until Yesterday: What Can We Learn from Traditional Societies? Following the presentation and discussion, a reception and book signing will be held at the Oak Park Public Library, 834 Lake St., with the author.
