Oak Park Concert Chorale to Present Holiday Program in Forest Park
Newly commissioned works, standards of the season to highlight program at St. John Lutheran Church.
Newly-commissioned works and standards of the season will be on the card during the Oak Park Concert Chorale program on Sunday, Nov. 18 in Forest Park. The ensemble, with Paul Lindblad as director, will present Star of the East, at 4 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 305 Circle Ave. in Forest Park. Works by Paul Bouman and Carl Schalk will be the centerpiece of a program that will include carols from medieval and Baroque periods and the 20th century.
