SATURDAY, NOV. 3 Fabian Pita-Alcaide, 29, of Chicago was charged wtih driving under the influence of alcohol and other offenses after he was stopped in the 1700 block of Harlem Avenue for driving erratically, police said. An officer on patrol in the 1100 block of Harlem began following a car that continually weaved over the double yellow line. After stopping the driver, an officer saw three open cans of beer in the car. Pita-Alcaide failed a field sobriety test; a breathaylzer test indicated his blood alcohol concentration was .174, police said. Pita-Alcaide also was charged with driving with a blood alcohol concentration in excess of .08, driving without a valid driver’s license, illegal transportation of open alcohol and improper lane …
