OPRF getting set to present feedback at upcoming meeting.
Oak Park and River Forest High School still wants residents' opinions on the direction that the institution should take. The strategic planning survey will remain open through winter break, which concludes Monday, Jan. 7. To take the survey, either online or on paper, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 708-434-3511. Nearly two dozen focus groups have been completed. Feedback will be presented at an upcoming steering committee meeting and posted on the Strategic Planning page on the high school's website. Deadline for taking survey is Monday, focus groups will be held Monday and Dec. 1.
The deadline has been extended through Monday, Nov. 19, to take the strategic-planning survey for Oak Park and River Forest High School. Officials are looking for the demographics of respondents to more closely align with those of the high school. A vast majority of those taking the survey are white. Approximately 10.78 percent of the survey takers are black, 1.64 percent multiracial, 3.16 percent Hispanic, 2.4 percent Asian/Pacific Islander, 0.11 percent Native American and 5.04 percent of the respondents did not answer that question, school district officials said. Survey, focus groups to assess feelings, concerns about high school.
Residents have the chance to help set the direction of Oak Park and River Forest High School. A community survey will allow participants to tell officials what they like and don't like at the high school; they can also say what they would like to see changed at the OPRF. A postcard will be coming to households with information on how to take the community survey. Each has a unique access code, so once a resident gets the postcard they can take the poll online, district officials said. Deadline for completing the survey is Nov. 12.
