I come from a long line of artists, engineers, teachers and inventors and have spent the last 20+ years as an graphic designer, art director and illustrator. But at my core, I’m a maker of things that involve paper, cloth, paint, glue, buttons, beads and found objects. Maybe you could say I’m a walking collage!
Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to teach children and adults here and overseas and have found these experiences to be the most rewarding of all.     The Little Bits Workshop in River Forest is the culmination of a lifetime of creative experience and it’s a dream come true. I love being a hostess to creativity by providing an inspiring environment for all. I have illustrated and designed for a diverse range of publications and companies including: Chicagoland Gardening, Chicago Wilderness, Books & Culture, Marriage Partnership, Christian Reader, Today's Christian Woman, Crossway Books, Sundown Entertainment, Planter's Palette, The Field Museum, DuPage County Forest Preserve, Audubon, Brookfield Zoo, Intervarsity Press, Greenfield Herb Garden, Livingstone, Mary Rice Hopkins & Co., Domain Communications, Pioneer Clubs, Robin Road, Caspari Center, College Church, Wheaton Eye Clinic, Rush Presbyterian Hospital, Media Associates International, Area Agency on Aging, IFES, and the City of Chicago. This journey began back in 1985 when I attended the Ringling School of Art & Design, in Sarasota, FL, majoring in illustration.
