About OakParkPublicLibrary
The Oak Park Public Library enhances the quality of life in our diverse community by providing the resources and services for lifelong learning and enjoyment, the space and opportunities to gather and connect, and by fostering a love of reading.
The Oak Park Public Library was established as a public lending library in 1902. Today the Library serves over 50,000 residents in Oak Park, Illinois.
The Oak Park Public Library's collection includes fiction and nonfiction titles, ebooks, audiobooks, movies, CDs, video games, magazines, newspapers, reference materials, online resources, and local history information.
Oak Park residents can apply for a free library card to check out items and use library services. Many services and events are free of charge and available to those without Oak Park Public Library cards.
