Loving Penelope needs a Loving home

My name is Penelope and I came to the ACL from a shelter in Arkansas that had run out of space for me and my family. Yes, at the time I was taking care of my eight 10 day old puppies. The staff here often commented what a good mom I was, but now that my pups are ready to go out on their own, in fact some have already found their families, I am looking for a loving home for myself. I am a sweet and gentle soul, and I love all people, big and small. I like the outdoors and walk nicely on a leash, I love attention and food. I'm the quiet type, meaning in my two months here nobody has heard my voice. I don't roam, I don't chew things in the house, but I am a little naughty about food that is left unattended. So garbage cans need to be closed tightly. I'm mostly house trained, but initially will need frequent outdoor visits. Because I was suspected to have sarcoptic mange, and am still struggling with a little skin condition, my adoption fee is $75.00. If you are looking for a one of a kind dog, come in and say hello.
