Coyote Pups Born in Oak Park

A litter of coyote pups were born recently in an Oak Park neighborhood, the Chicago Tribune reports.

A litter of six coyote pups were born recently in an Oak Park neighborhood near Linden Avenue and Augusta Street, the Chicago Tribune reported Tuesday.

Oak Park environmental health supervisor Mike Charley told the Tribune the village trapped least two of the pups last week. Coyotes trapped by the village are sent to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and released after rehabilitation, according to the Tribune.
