'The Baseball as Art' Show to Feature Oak Park Artist, Former Patch Illustrator

Local artist and former Patch illustrator Charley Krebs will show is work in the "The Baseball As Art" show at Harrison Works art gallery, opening this week.

Oak Park artist and former Patch illustrator Charley Krebs will debut his 2013 "The Baseball As Art" show at Harrison Works art gallery Friday, July 19.

The show opens Friday with an artist reception from 6-10 p.m. The show runs through Sunday, Sept. 15.

Harrison Works is located at 17 Harrison St. in the Oak Park Arts District.

The Show features paintings, drawings, and assemblages by Harrison Works' owner Elizabeth Gaylord, illustrations by former Oak Park Patch and current Chicago Jazz Magazine cartoonist Charley Krebs, drawings by Mark Hadhazy and paintings by Sandra Ragan and Stephen Smith.
