Oak Park Seeks Proposals for Development at South, Harlem (VIDEO)

Village of Oak Park's newest video focuses on the village's appeal to potential developers as the village seeks proposals to develop a site at South Boulevard and Harlem Avenue.

The Village of Oak Park on Wednesday posted a new YouTube video about the business and development community in Oak Park as it seeks proposals to develop a site at South Boulevard and Harlem Avenue within the downtown area, according to the village.

"The main site, which is approximately 47,325 square feet, is owned by the Village. Privately-owned parcels to the east of the development site are included as an alternative. Considered signature sites, the Village believes their redevelopment will redefine Oak Park’s greater downtown for the foreseeable future."

The selection process will consist of developer submittals, staff review and recommendation to the Oak Park Village Board of Trustees for consideration, according to the village.
