Pet Care Plus Opens in Oak Park

Pet Care Plus, Ltd. has expanded to Oak Park with the acquisition of a full service grooming facility that also houses three dog self-wash stations.

Pet Care Plus began operating the former Scrubber's space at 404 Lake St. Sept. 3, with a new name: Pet Care Plus Salon & Spa, according to a news release on the opening. The business will have three full time groomers and a dedicated client services manager on site. The existing grooming staff, which has over 45 years of experience in the industry, will remain with the business to ensure a successful start to the new business.

The new client services manager will be a returning Pet Care Plus employee, Michael Sullivan, who has over 20 years management experience and over 5 years of experience in the pet services industry.

Jennifer Stavrianos, Owner of Pet Care Plus, "Has always had a good eye for existing businesses that just needed a little more TLC to get them shining like a new dollar," according to the release. "Scrubber’s fits that description to a tee."
