Free Memoir Writing Workshop Sept. 5

Michael Czarnecki, a poet and publisher from New York, will offer his "Palm-of-the-Hand" Memoire Writing Workshop to help you capture the stories of your life. Czarnecki uses the "Palm-of-the-Hand" writing method, after the "Palm-of-the-Hand" stories of Japanese writer Yasunari Kawabata. After deciding on story possibilities, the method helps focus a writer's energy into completing short individual pieces about their life.

These workshops have been very successful in helping people to write extensively about their life experiences -- whether for family members or to someday be published in a book, says Czarnecki.
