Lake Theatre and Community Bank of Oak Park River Forest Present Free “A Christmas Carol” Show

Attendees
are encouraged to share their Christmas spirit by bringing a gift to a FREE screening of the heart-warming, classic holiday film “A Christmas Carol” (G) at Classic Cinemas Lake Theatre, located 1022 Lake Street in Oak Park, on December 7th at 10 AM. This holiday film screening is in partnership with Community Bank of Oak Park River Forest and to benefit Bethel New Life. Community
Bank will be accepting donated gifts on behalf of Bethel New Life and all
donated gifts should be new and unwrapped.

 “A
Christmas Carol” (1951) tells the story of the miserable, money-loving Ebenezer
Scrooge and why he must change his mean ways to his humble clerk, Bob Cratchit
who is trying to save his crippled son, Tiny Tim. Three ghosts; the Ghost of
Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the Ghost of Christmas Yet
to Come, show him his past, his present, and what his future will be. Starring
Alastair Sim, Kathleen Harrison, and Mervyn Johns, “A Christmas Carol” inspires
all of us to show our Christmas spirit and think of others. Find out if Scrooge
can save his fate and not end up like his business partner, Jacob Marley, with
this special benefit show!
