SATURDAY, JUNE 22

Property Damage

Someone damaged a screen and scratched a glass window with a rock at a place in the 1300 block of N. Austin. The estimated damage is $30.

Car Burglary

A car stereo and miscellaneous change were stolen from a car parked in the 600 block of Lyman.

SUNDAY, JUNE 23

Endangering a Child  

Nicole M. Hurley, 30, of the 300 block of S. Taylor in Oak Park, was charged with endangering the life/health/safety of a child.  Police said she left 8- and 9-year-old children at home alone. She was given a July 15 court date.

Warrant Arrest

Robert J. Carreno, 35, of Lombard, was booked in Oak Park on an active warrant for his arrest on illegal credit card use and possession of drug paraphernalia in DuPage County.

Garage Burglary

Someone entered a garage in the 100 block of Washington through an unlocked door and stole a green and white Craftsman lawnmower, a can of polyurethane, a black rake and a gray industrial fan. The loss is $578.

MONDAY, JUNE 24

$2400 in Windows Damaged at OPRF  

A projectile, perhaps a BB gun, was used to damage eight first-floor windows on the north and west sides of Oak Park and River Forest High School. The estimated damage is $2,400.

Criminal Trespassing

William Clemons Jr., 60, of Maywood, was charged with criminal trespassing in the 900 block of North Boulevard.

Car Burglary

A Kenwood car radio was stolen from a car parked in the 500 block of N. Humphrey. The offender smashed the driver’s side front window to gain entry. The estimated loss and damage was $700.

Another  car window was smashed in the 1000 block of N. Humphrey, and a Nikon DSLR 3000 camera was taken. The estimated loss is $850.

Property Damage

The driver’s side mirror was damaged on a car parked in the 700 block of Ontario. The damage was $100.

The front porch window of a home in the 800 block of Lombard was broken, causing $300 in damage.

A landscaping brick was used to shatter a white globe light in the front yard of a home in the 300 block of Forest. The damage was $50.

Copper Piping Stolen from Vacant Office

A vacant office suite in the 100 block of Forest was entered with a key between June 11 and June 24, and someone cut about 25 feet of copper piping from the water boiler inside. The offender then entered the garage storage room with a key and cut another 95 feet of copper piping from the ceiling area. The estimated loss is $2,200.

Bike Stolen

A black 26-inch Navarro bike was stolen from a bike rack in the 900 block of N. Ridgeland after someone cut the bike lock. The estimated loss is $835.
