Bookkeeper Accused of Stealing More Than $10,000 From Employer
Batavia woman faces felony theft charge for reportedly transferring money from a business account to a personal debit account.
Oak Park police on June 7 charged a 43-year-old Batavia woman with felony theft for allegedly transferring more than $10,000 from her employer's business account into a personal debit account, police said.
Dawn Hecht, 43, who had been working as a bookkeeper for the Total Nurses Network, 1515 N. Harlem Ave. in Oak Park, was arrested around 7:20 p.m. in the 100 block of Madison Street and held for bond hearings, police said.
