Sarah Brink-Kemmerling, 48, of the 200 block of South Marion Street in Oak Park was arrested after police saw her taking plants and damaging planters around 8:40 a.m. in the 400 block of South Harlem. Someone in the 100 block of Lathrop Avenue reported harassing phone calls from an inmate at the Boon County Jail around 4 p.m.Wednesday, June 5
Marijuana Possession
Darius Dorsey, 22, of Chicago was arrested for marijuana possession around 1:10 a.m. in the 1300 block of Harlem Avenue. Police said Dorsey had about 3.4 grams of pot and about 200 empty plastic bags labeled for marijuana sales, police said.Tuesday, June 4
Woman With Child Steals Vodka
A woman with a small child was seen stealing two bottles of Ciroc vodka around 10 a.m. at Dominick's, 7501 North Ave. Police said she was last seen driving east on North Avenue. The estimated loss is $40, police said.Monday, June 3
Teen Gang Member Charged With Bike Theft
Police arrested a 16-year-old for stealing a bike around 6 p.m. in the 7200 block of Oak Street. The teen, who told police they were a gang member, was held and charged in a juvenile petition, police said.Police Blotter information is provided by local law enforcement agencies.
