Kids Arrested for Stealing Candy
Three Chicago juveniles were arrested for retail theft at CVS Pharmacy, 345 Madison St., after store employees saw them steal 35 large candy bars and a cooler bag, worth a total of about $93, around 2:50 p.m.Bike, Glasses Stolen
Someone ransacked a BMW and an Audi in an unlocked garage in the 100 block of South East Avenue and stole a pair of sunglasses, $8 in coins and a men's bike between 11 p.m. July 24 and 6 a.m. July 25. The total estimated loss is $548, police said.Prius Window Broken
Someone broke the rear window of a Toyota Prius parked in the 100 block of Madison Street between 5:45 and 6:05 a.m. The total estimated loss is $400, police said.Paintball Gun Stolen
