Man Pulls Gun, Robs Pizza Delivery Person in Oak Park: Police

Monday, January 13

Gun Pulled in Robbery of Pizza Delivery Person

A teen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt confronted a pizza delivery person about 10 p.m. in the 500 block of North Humphrey Avenue and brandished a handgun, demanding the driver give him "everything he had," police said. The offender took the victim's cell phone and $90 and ran, police said. The total estimated loss is $290, police said. 

Car Vandalized

Someone scratched the hood and passenger-side rear door of a car in the 100 block of South Humphrey Avenue between 9:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. The estimated cost of damage is $1,000, police said. 

Car Part Stolen

Someone stole the catalytic converter from a car in the 900 block of South Lombard Avenue between 11 a.m. Jan. 12 and 12:40 p.m. Jan. 13. The total estimated loss is $1,100, police said. 

Sunday, January 12

DUI

Police charged Carlos Carrillo, 31, of Bensenville, with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give aid or information and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident in the 1100 block of Lake Street around 12:20 a.m. He was processed and held for bond hearings.
