Wallet Stolen From Concordia Computer Lab
Someone stole a wallet from the computer lab at Concordia University about 7:30 p.m.

Man Arrested for Taunting Girl, 14, in Oak Park
Oak Park police charged DeShawn Bell, 31, of Chicago, with battery after he began taunting a 14-year-old Chicago girl in the 100 block of Forest Avenue about 1:45 p.m. Police said the girl ran into a business when the man started taunting her to call police. He was processed and held on bond.
Chicago Man Arrested for Stealing Teen's Phone
Oak Park police charged Henry Butler, 26, of Chicago, with theft after he grabbed an iPhone from a 17-year-old male's hand in the 0-100 block of Lake Street and ran around 7 p.m. He was arrested after a quick chase in the 5500 block of West Ohio Street and held on bond, police said. The phone was not recovered.

Marijuana Arrest
River Forest police Josiah Fiala, 20, of the 600 block of South Lombard Avenue in Oak Park with marijuana possession.
Police said a suspicious person was cutting through yards near the intersection of Hawthorne and Thatcher avenues about 1:45 a.m. Fiala admitted he had recently smoked pot and still had some in his backpack. Police found seven small bags containing 8 grams of marijuana, a pipe, and grinder in the backpack.
Fiala was charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Man Tries to Steal $400 in Meat Products
River Forest police charged Andre Porter, 53, of Summit, with attempted retail theft after he tried to steal almost $400 in meat products from Dominick's, 7501 W. North Ave. about 4 p.m.
Marijuana, License Arrest
Oak Park police charged Knite Jones, 35, of Chicago, with marijuana possession during a traffic stop in the 400 block of Madison Street about 10:55 p.m. Police said Jones had about 3.4 grams of marijuana in a storage compartment in his car. He was also charged with driving without a valid license or insurance and released on bond.
$2,900 in Electronics Stolen in Burglary
Someone pushed an air conditioning unit through a window to break into a home in the 800 block of South Austin Boulevard in Oak Park and stole a 47-inch flat screen TV, a laptop, a game system, video games, clothes and a duffel bag between 1:30 p.m. The total estimated loss is $2,900, police said.
Bike Stolen
Someone stole a $750 men's bike that was left unattended in the 100 block of South Ridgeland Boulevard in Oak Park between 3 and 3:45 p.m.
Cadillac CTS Stolen on Superior
Someone stole a tan 2006 Cadillac CTS parked in the 0-100 block of Superior Street between 6 p.m. Sept. 28 and 3:15 p.m. Oct. 2. The total estimated loss is $20,000, police said.
iPhone Stolen From Yard
Someone stole an unattended iPhone from a backyard in the 600 block of South Harvey Avenue in Oak Park between 11:30 a.m. and about 6:20 p.m. The total estimated loss is $120, police said.
iPods, Tools Stolen From Car
Someone stole two iPods, $45 in coins and two toolboxes containing tools from an unlocked car in the 0-100 block of South Austin Boulevard in Oak Park between 8 p.m. Oct. 1 and 9:45 a.m. Oct. 2. The total estimated loss is $305, police said.
Car Dented, Scratched
Someone dented and scratched a 2013 Honda in the 300 block of South Oak Park Avenue between 6:30 p.m. Oct. 1 and 8:20 a.m. Oct. 2. The estimated cost of damage is $200, police said.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1
Woman Blows .206 in DUI Arrest
River Forest police charged Maria Izquierdo, 48, of Chicago, with driving under the influence of alcohol about 10:55 p.m. during a traffic stop in the 800 block of Harlem Avenue. Police said her blood alcohol content (BAC) was .206, more than two times the legal .08 limit. Izquuierdo was charged with DUI and other traffic offenses.
Purse Stolen From Car
Someone stole a purse from an unlocked car parked in front of Men’s Wearhouse at the River Forest Town Center about 11 a.m. The total estimated loss is $40, police said.
Boots Stolen From Package
Someone stole a pair of women's boots from a UPS package in the 900 block of North Humphrey Avenue between 3:55 and 4:15 p.m. The boots were recovered later in a gangway in the 1200 block of North Austin Boulevard, police said.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28
DUI Arrest in River Forest
River Forest police charged Gerald Coulter, 57, of Chicago, with driving under the influence of alcohol. Police responded to a call reporting a reckless driver near Division and Lathrop avenues about 5:30 p.m. and stopped Coulter for expired plates. His blood alcohol content (BAC) was .162, police said. He was charged with DUI and other traffic offenses.
