Teen Charged With DUI, Leaving Scene of an Accident: Police Blotter

Oak Park police arrest reports, May 31-June 2

SUNDAY, JUNE 2

DUI

Zachary Zagorski, 18, of the 500 block of Wesley Avenue in Oak Park was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, traffic violations and damaging village property around 1:15 a.m. in the 900 block of West Jackson Street. He was released after posting bond, police said.

Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Reckless Driving

Police charged Benjamin Bailey, 36, of Chicago, with leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, traffic violations and damaging village property after an accident in the 0-100 block of Chicago Avenue around 5 p.m. Police said Bailey was arrested after he left the scene of the accident and then crashed at the intersection of Harvey and Chicago. He was released and given a June 24 court date. 

FRIDAY, MAY 31

Attempted Residential Burglary

Terry Brady, 19, of Chicago was arrested for an attempted residential burglary around 3:15 p.m. in the 600 block of South Lombard Avenue. Brady was arrested after someone saw him climb up a utility pole and try to open a second floor window, police said. 

Marijuana Possession

Police charged Tyree Williams, 22, of Chicago with marijuana possession around 9:50 a.m. in the 5900 block of West Midway Park. Police searched Williams while responding to a report of a possible drug transaction in the area and found a one-hitter and 1.2 grams of pot in his pockets, police said. He was processed and charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia and released after posting bond.
