Oak Park police reports, June 19-20

THURSDAY, JUNE 20

Radio Stolen

Someone stole the dashboard radio from a 1993 Jeep parked in the 1100 block of North Austin Boulevard between 3:20 and 3:30 a.m. The total estimated loss is $200, police said. 

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19

Chicago Man Arrested for Yelling, Profane Language

Lester Davidson, 66, of Chicago was arrested disorderly conduct around 7:20 p.m. after he yelled  at and used profane language toward a 46-year-old River Forest woman in the 400 block of North Harlem Avenue. He was charged and held on bond. 

Wallet Stolen From Back of Woman's Chair

Someone stole a wallet containing credit cards and $100 cash from a purse hanging on the back of a woman's chair while she was eating at an outdoor table in the 100 block of North Marion Street between 2:30 and 4:05 p.m. The total estimated loss is $210, police said. 

Bike Theft

Someone stole a bike from a rack in the 200 block of Marion Street between 3:30 and 6:20 p.m. The total estimated loss is $125, police said. 

Thumb Drive Stolen From Doctor's Office

Someone stole a thumb drive from a chiropractor's office in the 1000 block of Lake Street between 8:45 p.m. June 18 and 9:30 a.m. June 19. 

Electronics Stolen From Unlocked Cars

  • Someone stole a laptop, an external hard drive and a Compaq case from an unlocked car in the 1000 block of South East Avenue between 9:30 p.m. June 18 and 9:30 a.m. June 19. The total estimated loss is $600, police said.
  • Someone stole a cell phone from an unlocked car in the 1100 block of South East Avenue between 10:45 p.m. June 18 and 3:30 p.m. June 19. 

Car Theft

Someone stole an unlocked 1998 Kia Sephia in the 900 block of South Oak Park Avenue between 5:30 and 8:17 a.m.
