Remains of White Female Found in Thatcher Woods
Police conducting death investigation after remains were found in Thatcher Woods about 10 p.m. Thursday.
Police are conducting a death investigation after human remains were found in River Forest's Thatcher Woods, in the 8100 block of Chicago Avenue, at about 10 p.m. Thursday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
The medical examiner's office said the remains were of a woman's body, and are being examined by a pathologist. According to the Wednesday Journal, the remains were wrapped in clear plastic.
River Forest police told the Journal the investigation involved an incident that took place in Chicago.
