The Sugar Beet Co-op, Neighbor

Started by a group of food-loving neighbors, The Sugar Beet Cooperative is building a new kind of grocery store in Oak Park to open in 2015.

The Sugar Beet will be a member-owned full-service grocery store, will sell food directly from local farms and producers, and will educate citizens about the importance of supporting farmers and the local economy.

The Sugar Beet Co-op will be a gathering place for people to celebrate good, local food.
