Men Steal Guitar, Amp From Victim on Street

Two men get out of their car, punch a man in the face and steal is guitar and amp. Other recent Oak Park police reports include burglary, theft and a warrant charge for dangerous drugs.

Man Robbed of Guitar, Amp on Jackson 

Two men in their 30s got out of a car in the 0-100 block of Jackson Boulevard, struck a man in the face and stole his fender guitar amplifier, a Martin D-12 guitar and $180 from his pocket. They got back into the car and drove east on Jackson, police said. The total estimated loss is $2,893, police said. 

Burglary on Lombard

Someone forced open the front door of a home in the 1000 block of North Lombard Avenue and stole a laptop from the dining room between 12:50 and 4:50 p.m. The total estiamted loss is $1,500, police said. 

Warrant: Dangerous Drugs

Police charged Jamie Trochowski, 36, of the 300 block of Harrison Street in Oak Park with a warrant out of DuPage County for failure to appear for a dangerous drugs warrant about 5:10 p.m. in the 1100 block of South Boulevard. She was turned over to the DuPage County Sheriff's Office.

15-Foot Ladder Stolen

Someone stole a 15-foot ladder from a a garage in the 600 block of South Maple Avenue between 1 a.m. Nov. 15 and 5 p.m. Nov. 18. The total estimated loss is $200, police said. 

Bike Stolen

Someone stole a bike from a rack in the 800 block of Madison Street between 6 p.m. Nov. 17 and 6:30 a.m. Nov. 18.
