Siblings' Shooting Case Going to Grand Jury

The case against siblings accused of the attempted murder of an Oak Park man will continue June 28, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

The case against two siblings charged with the attempted murder of a 50-year-old Oak Park man will go to a grand jury, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Cook County Judge Geary Kull at Erica Anderson's court appearance Friday the case has been continued until June 28 and that he expects the state's attorney will take the case before a grand jury, according to the Sun-Times.

Eric Lamar Anderson, 18, of Harvey, and his sister, Erica Anderson, 21, of Chicago, are both charged with attempted first-degree murder, home invasion, armed robbery and aggravated battery for the May 30 shooting of an Oak Park man in the 900 block of North Taylor Avenue, according to a news release from the Village of Oak Park.
